The textured fabric of the Admix Hat was designed to combine different yarns of the same weight for interesting color and texture effects. Choose two or more DK weight yarns with contrasting colors, dye processes or fiber contents to create unique fabrics. Here, we combine a sturdy workhorse solid-dyed wool () with a tonally-dyed cotton-merino blend (). The softer color transitions of hand- or tonal- dyed yarns shift and mix gently when interspersed with a solid base in a coordinating or complementary color.
